Peter,
Do you want to know the best part of visiting your page?
Seeing my pictures pasted all over it next to my comments. It's slowly becoming the Jamie page!
This is just amazing! This site blows me away every time I strike it up on the Web. Each time I find something else that is so precious to the schooner’s history and following. Bob’s most recent postings of the TURTLE sketches and his recall of the event are so terrific. Also, who’d have thunk it that we would have a descendent of the BESTEVAER Captain contribute to our site?!!! This is truly amazing what you have started Peter!
I just got back from lovely Pascagoula on Friday so I will have a chance to “get back in it” and hunt up more crew. Also, per Bob’s suggestion, I’ll contact Cap’s family and see what memories and pictures they can come up with. I’m remiss in not doing this earlier. I know, I’m telling you, I know that Cap is loving this. The TABOR BOY was his life.

Luke,
Please hang on to my hat till my next visit. It was really fun playing basket ball with you and I hope that you come down and visit us and see the goats. Keep on being a good older brother to Joy.
Peter,
As always, it was great to see you and your family. Wow, after all these years you are still being summoned to the headmaster’s office. Some habits die hard It’s just too cool how this project that you created has taken off. I know that Cap’s smiling!
Thanks for the potato and biscuit less dinner.
Best regards,
Jamie
Hey Peter,
You were quite the long haired youth. I think I may have you beet. I’ll post a picture tonight if I have time of me when I sailed during your tenure as XO.
Sail on,
Jamie
Peter,
I've posted the story on the Blog. Also, I'm still trying to run down a few more email addresses. Some of the ones that I sent out are no longer current. Also, I know that I am missing some. I'll try the Tabor site.
Regards,
Jamie
