Favorite Tabor Boy moment
When Cap told me that my project of rebuilding the nav. station was exhibited by Apelco at the NY Boat Show, I was very proud.
On returning in 1988, I learned that the crew did not know about a hidden hatch for the bilge. I built a cabinet for the galley that could be moved. Over 20 years, the hatch had been forgotten, what a laugh.
There were so many great moments. It would be easy to go on.

Clint,

Welcome aboard! Wow, so you are the one that built the nav sta. I did a lot of navigating there through the years and you did a fantastic job. It really is amazing the responsibility that Cap gave us at times. The schooner really is an amazing program that has changed many a young man's lives through the years.

Again welcome,

Jamie Hutton '79
