If I rememeber correctly, the Ross award went to Steve Cluette in '81 and to Peter Van Colon for '82. Both were class of '82 and shared the engineroom duties during those two years. There is more to that story and I'll tell you over a beer someday! JL

Yes, you did Jon and I did see it (although hard to read in this picture). I remember coming home from sea year when you where the C/E. Who was the Chief in between our years ('81)? Why did they stop? What that when Cap retired?

I remember this used to be in the Saloon of the Schooner! I'm on there as well 1983.
Served as Engineer during the summers of '82 and '83. Thanks for the memories

Ross Engineering Award for outstanding service to the Tabor Boy. I'm on this '79 & '80. Only one other Chief Engineer on more. I was actually C/E from the Summer of '78 through June '80.
