I took the picture in the White Islands in ME. Great story, too bad about the silverware! :-0

Looks like Merchant Row, is that correct? We went to green island one summer in that area, great day of swimming in the fresh water quarry, although rolled the long boat on the way back the schooner skylarking , dumped almost all the the sliver ware for the ship! I think that was in 1988, good times!

I can see this so vividly Peter. It was the same for at least the next three years. My parents likewise had a painting made of the Schooner. They had it done on wood to make it look old. She is sailing into Mattapoisett harbor. You can see it on the pictures on my page. That is such a great shot. I can feel the cool air and cold water and smell the Maine pines and seawater just by looking at it.

I took this photo during my junior/senior aummer when sailing as paid crew. My parents secretly had a painting made of it and gave it to me for graduation. One of my most cherished belongings!
