Bob,
The Dark side is calling you! Feel it flowing through you, making you smarter, drawing you ... near an engine.

Hey Bob,
Alex owns a boat! Another guy that we can bum a sail with!
I suspect that Frapper filter ugly mugs from the site. Did you mark Fair Haven, Mass or England?

Bob,
Add your location to Frapper! Again, I was even able to train my dog to use it.

Bob,
I don't see your frappin' picture on the map. Have you joined?
I'm really aiming for the iPhone so tell all of your friends, family members, neighbors and strangers to vote for all of my posted stories. If I win, I'll call you! ;-)
Thanks Capt!

You are a frapper map! You're a frappen' dirt ball is what you are!
Just have my derby!, Have to look for a hornblower hat!, maybe the army navy store on thames street in Newport.
I have a basic scanner, but will try with higher resolution.
Cheers, have a safe flight.
This is just amazing! This site blows me away every time I strike it up on the Web. Each time I find something else that is so precious to the schooner’s history and following. Bob’s most recent postings of the TURTLE sketches and his recall of the event are so terrific. Also, who’d have thunk it that we would have a descendent of the BESTEVAER Captain contribute to our site?!!! This is truly amazing what you have started Peter!
I just got back from lovely Pascagoula on Friday so I will have a chance to “get back in it” and hunt up more crew. Also, per Bob’s suggestion, I’ll contact Cap’s family and see what memories and pictures they can come up with. I’m remiss in not doing this earlier. I know, I’m telling you, I know that Cap is loving this. The TABOR BOY was his life.
Ahoy Bill,
Many thanks for the kind comments and touching base. I most recently built a new 122' schooner for the Comm of Virginia. Last year I moved back to NE with my family and I have taken a job as a maritime instructor and head simulator instructor. What great fun and I enjoy giving back to the industry. I live in Fairhaven, so when you get back up this way we can get together with Peter.
Trust your well and giving those UofD students something to think about!!
Bob
Hello Bob,
I hope all is well with you. The years around ours certainly were good ones for producing Tabor Boy alumni who have impressive careers in the maritime industry. You certainly have had - Pride of Baltimore, Kalmar Nyckel, and I don't know what else. And Peter Mello, ExDir of ASTA, and Jamie overseeing NOAA's new boats and I don't know what else. Makes me wonder what other things Tabor Boy alumni are doing.
Best wishes,
Bill Rose
OK you guys
Now I am lost, are we serious, what boat? Jamie is coming to Mattapoisett? Becky is away for the weekend so it's just me and the boys, hard labor available!

Where's your uniform? Can't be no Cap'n witout no uniform! I think you should have a Hornblower admiral hat.
That's a terrific and important photo. Can you scan it again with higher resolution? It's a bit rough.
I head back down to PGula tomorrow, what fun.
Best regards,
Jamie

Jamie brings the beer, you bring the food and I'll bring the sandpaper. What do you think?
OK, ordering food now, set a date!
Peter has a boat. Let’s party, I’ll bring the beer and you bring the food.
Wahooo!
