I was 15 year old general crew, did the square sail yard arms, as the height was not a problem for me. We sailed New England and Maine and had an extended option to Bermuda which included SCUBA diving on ship wrecks.

Yes, Catalina sloop with a fin keel
Favorite Tabor Boy moment
From the "crow's nest" at the top of the mast, looking out at the ocean and being able to see the curve in the earth's horizon. I realized I knew how to sail, the oceans connected the land, and I could go anywhere I wanted by sailing there on the ocean. Further, we won the Shields 30 class race Summer 1972.
