Favorite Tabor Boy moment
I was the "engineer officer" for two years and the simplest and most recurring memory was the ability of sleeping on the deck plate that covered the engine particularly when it was cold and wet. If you don't mind the swinging lanterns and the noise it was a great place to bunk down.
This was when we had the 671 and it was a narrow piece of diamond plate but it worked and that "bunk"had the added advantage of instantly knowing when the engine changed speed or when it was reversed if we were about to moor or anchor.

Tabor's sail training program has shaped so many young lives over the years and thankfully continues to do so today! Great to have you aboard!
